2 Subjects are being taught this semester:

o    Digital Video (MULT08008)
o    Interactive Multimedia Design (MULT08006)
We received detailed handouts on both these courses.
Digital Video (MULT08008) (summary):We will use ‘Premier Pro,’ for pre- and post-production phases of the design, Adobe Suite Software e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, We may also use ‘Photoshop’ and ‘Illustrator.’
Interactive Multimedia Design (MULT08006) (summary):Considering; psychology of perception, ‘designing with the mind in mind,’ for the Web, learning basic elements of design, about biases, a multimedia environment, what good and bad design is and how to group things together on screen.
·         There are projects to submit over the period of the course.
·         Assignments are to be submitted through ‘Moodle.’
·         Lynda.com is a useful informative tutorial website for aspects of these courses.

Creation of email account and blog:

·         We are required to set up an email account and a blog account as part of this course to document out experience over the period of the course. I have set both these up.

This information was all very helpful as it outlines the course structures and expectations of individuals and teamwork as part of the course. I have decided in the design of my Blog that I will use blue headings for general information, purple headings for lectures and navy blue headings for projects.
Looking forward to making our first video!
